We Treasure PyData. See you in NYC!

You may have noticed on the PyData NYC’s website that Treasure Data will be joining PyData NYC as a Platinum Sponsor.

Treasure Data has quite a bit of history with Python and PyData. Yuu, one of our devops engineers, is the creator of pyenv, a popular Python environment manager, and one of our backend engineers, Keisuke, has written pandas-td and luigi-td to make the Treasure Data service more accessible to the PyData community.

Our love for Python extends beyond the core engineering team. The marketing department, is becoming increasingly reliant on Pandas to calculate metrics and transform data internally. Rob Parrish, our data-scientist-turned-product-manager, is attending PyData and will be speaking about reproducibility in data science. Usually sponsor led talks tend to be lame, but we can guarantee that Rob’s talk is going to be awesome 🙂

We will have a table at the event showcasing Treasure Data’s capabilities, as well as our integration with Jupyter and Luigi, and we are always available to answer questions related to open source projects Fluentd and Embulk.

Happy dataframing!

P.S. If you can’t meet up in person in NYC, definitely register for our upcoming Webinar: How Jupyter and Pandas Can Fast Track Your Analytics Effort
