Treasure Data Recognized in 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Management Solutions for Analytics

News Highlights:

  • Treasure Data included in 2019 Gartner Data Management Solutions for Analytics Magic Quadrant for second time
  • Our enterprise Customer Data Platform was one of the 19 vendors Gartner evaluated based on completeness of vision and ability to execute in the DMSA market
  • 30 customers shared their use cases with Gartner as part of evaluation process

For the second year in a row, Treasure Data has been included in the Gartner Data Management Solution for Analytics Magic Quadrant. Gartner evaluated 19 vendors based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute, and our Customer Data Platform (CDP) was one of the selected few that were included.

Our vision from the very beginning at Treasure Data was to build a sophisticated cloud-based data management platform and we have never strayed from that core foundation. The Treasure Data platform was built on our data collection frameworks represented by Fluentd and our other open source data collector projects, such as Fluent-Bit and Embulk. We have continued to expand our features and capabilities enabling companies to swiftly and securely unify their customer data, analyze it, and make decisions to better run their businesses.

According to Gartner, “With leading vendors showing strong progress in areas where they were previously lacking, most Niche Players are doubling down on their core strengths.” We completely agree. Our focus on the CDP market has accelerated since getting acquired by Arm in August 2018. We have been given the resources to deliver on new features and further innovate our platform.

Data is growing faster than our ability to consume it, driven in large part by the growing amount of IoT device data. We believe one of our greatest strengths is being able to securely ingest IoT data from any connected device or machine, correlate data from multiple data sources and leverage AI/ML-powered insights to act on custom insights and applications.

Another strength we pride ourselves on is our strong relationship with our customers. With more than 350 companies trusting us around the world, our 365/24/7 customer support is a top priority. A big thank you to our customers, thirty of which spoke with Gartner directly sharing their unique use cases.
